The main features of this set includes the mane, a well defined face, the well carved nostrils and the the front beads for beautiful chest. Limited in our stock, this design can be an addtion to collectors exotic wood artifacts.

Made in African Padauk, which has unique grains, straight or locked, this Chess board is laquer polished for gloss and durability. African Padauk is rated from durable to very durable. Padauk has a very unique reddish orange coloration, and the wood is sometimes referred to by the name Vermillion [Wood-Database].

Each set comes with 34 Chessmen, with two extra Queens. Please note this set comes with leather pads under each piece.
