Made in African Padauk, which has unique grains, straight or locked, these chess pieces are laquer polished for gloss and durability. African Padauk is rated from durable to very durable. Padauk has a very unique reddish orange coloration, and the wood is sometimes referred to by the name Vermillion [Wood-Database].

Each set comes with 34 Chessmen, with two extra Queens. All the pieces come with green billiard cloth pad for smooth execution on the board.
